P.A.W.S. (People for Animal Welfare Society) will hold its annual garage sale May 29-30 Friday in Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Proceeds from the sale will be used to benefit companion animals in Greene County, including veterinary services and educational programs.
The sale will be open Friday, May 29, from 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, May 30, from 8 to 11 am. For a small fee, shoppers can take a “sneak peek” to buy on Thursday, May 28, from 6 to 8 pm.
P.A.W.S. will accept donations for the garage sale. Donated items may be delivered during the week of the sale through noon on Thursday. Clothing that is in good condition will be accepted as well as clean items and small appliances in working order. Please, no large appliances, TVs, computers or furniture in poor repair.
Donors who have items that need to be picked up are asked to call Cheryl at 515-370-1213 or Marilyn at 515-370-1269. Volunteers to help sort and/or mark items are also welcome.
